  • ""I have been in therapy with Marie Rothman for 4+ years. I was first referred to her by a local dietician. Marie has great knowledge of nutrition and she is an EMDR trainer. She is the only therapist I recommend for treating addictive behaviors with all compulsive and substance abuse. Over the years we have worked on specific concerns with clear treatment goals. She is respectful and facilitates the transition from negative thought patterns to encouragement and bright hope for the future.""
  • ""I began seeing Marie Rothman for EMDR therapy about two years ago, and it was the best decision of my life. With her guidance, I have reclaimed my mind and body from past trauma. Marie has been my guide for establishing healthy coping mechanisms and strategies that work best for me in my day to day life as well. Her expertise in grief counseling helped me to navigate the sudden death of my mother in a healthy way that I just would not have been capable of on my own. Therapy with Marie helped me to remember how strong I really am.""
  • ""Marie is a wonderfully gifted therapist and special person, and I consider myself very fortunate to have crossed paths with her. Under her expert care and support, I have managed to completely turn around struggles and belief/thought patterns that were causing suffering. She uses a variety of techniques including EMDR and art therapy, and both I’ve found to be extremely effective.
Every time I leave my appointment I feel that I am able let go of something.
So grateful for the gift of Marie and effective therapy.""
  • ""My husband and I have been seeing Marie for 2 years now for couples counseling and we probably wouldn’t be married today without her help. Our Marriage is better now than when we first met. We continue to see Marie weekly to have a level of accountability to each other. I have recommended so many family and friends to Marie and can’t say enough good things about Marie!""
  • ""When I started therapy with Marie Rothman, I felt very at ease and comfortable. As time went by, I realized that the therapy that she provides is absolutely what I need. She’s always very supportive and guides you through tough time. I’ve never needed her more than I did with the loss of my son/only child. She was there day and night and continues to be here now. Her grief therapy helped me navigate my way through the worst time in my life. As I continue this grief journey, knowing that she will be my therapist makes me believe that I will be ok.""
  • ""I have worked along side Marie professionally for years and recommend my clients see her if they are ever looking for a wholistic therapist. She does not use the shotgun approach, but instead looks into the individual needs of each patient. This wholistic approach has been extremely beneficial and helped change countless lives over a long career. Could not recommend her more highly.""
  • ""Having worked with Marie Rothman, I find her compassionate and professional at at all times.""
  • "Marie is one of the most knowledgeable, caring and professional people I know. I trust her judgment and would recommend anyone with a health concern to meet with her and see if she can help you."
  • "Marie is in my opinion an excellent therapist. A few years ago she was able to stop the violent nightmares I have had for 14 months. These days I am seeing her for PTSD after a high speed head on collision in which the other driver lost control and ran head on into my car, putting us both in the hospital and totally destroying both cars. Marie is doing a wonderful job of getting the PTSD under control. I think Marie is the best of the best!"
  • "Two years ago, I walked in Marie Rothman’s office and had no idea that I was about to experience a life altering process. With her gentle, yet steadfast, guidance and the use of EMDR, my life has become and continues to be a journey that I could never have imagined possible. I look forward to the next chapter in my life. Thank you Marie Rothman. Thanks for introducing me to EMDR."
  • "Wonderful lady and excellent therapist!"
  • "Marie has been my colleague for years; she is wonderful. She is a genuinely caring, compassionate, and empathetic person. I have recommended her to my friends and family, and will continue to do so!"
  • "Marie has played a major, positive role in my life. To start off, due to constant pain, my productivity levels in life were at the highest of lows! Needless to say, that year will be remembered as one where my body was making every attempt possible to recover from (for the first time in my life) considering suicide due to that constant pain. Secondly, as a non-drinking person,my body turned to alcohol for purpose of pain relief. It got somewhat out of hand (three bottles of wine per day)! Thirdly,I gained a huge amount of weight (approached 40 lbs.) due to being in too much pain to exercise. I started seeing Marie, and the results began. I started feeling better and felt improvement in my energy, which was encouragement to me to continue working towards my goals.Marie became the greatest gift to me! Working with her, my pain became greatly reduced to the point of toleration. My drinking issue became a total “non-issue” (zero consumption in well over a month and a half)."
  • ""Marie has helped me so much with issues in my life. Most especially the death of my dad. I cannot recommend her enough. She is always there when I need her. She is great.""
  • ""My journey with Marie began with understanding my emotional eating habits. My struggles are ongoing, but she has helped me with my ADHD, PMDD, executive dysfunction, healthy eating, breakups, new relationships, moving states, and, most recently, my grief from my mother’s passing. I have grown more than I thought I could since Marie has been in my life. She celebrates my wins, grieves my losses, and helps me find perspective when I’m lost. She builds a trusting relationship with her clients and consistently meets their needs while teaching them to find and meet their needs.""
